Rahula Lama Tenzin Rinpoche - Ethical Director
Rahula Lama Tenzin Rinpoche serves as PALA’s Ethical Director, recognised by eminent Tibetan masters—including His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche, former Abbot of the Namgyal Monastery (the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama) and one of the foremost scholars and meditators of the Gelug tradition. His Eminence has personally expressed deep appreciation for Lama Tenzin’s philosophical corpus and its potential to shape the future of Buddhist contemplative thought. Some senior masters have described his work as among the most significant contributions to Buddhist philosophy in centuries.

Lama Tenzin’s contemplative investigations into impermanence, interdependence, and the nature of mind have yielded an advanced body of philosophical writing distinguished by its formulaic precision and structural insight into cognition. His unique ability to bridge contemplative philosophy with quantitative, predictive, and systemic frameworks has profoundly influenced the development of scientific models—such as the Conditional Scaffold Suite (CSS) and Relation-Centric Mathematics (RCM)—which translate inner insight into reproducible system-level science.
At PALA, Lama Tenzin provides the ethical and contemplative foundation that informs the Institute’s vision: better ensuring that its research and technological innovation remain non-sectarian, ethically rigorous, and directed toward the flourishing of all beings.
His guidance establishes a rare equilibrium between the contemplative and the scientific—between wisdom that illuminates mind and knowledge that advances the world. Lama Tenzin is regarded as a visionary teacher whose contemplative realizations and transmissions reveal profound unity between meditative insight and structured understanding.

Having spent decades in strict meditational retreat and training in the highest yogas of the Tibetan tradition, he deliberately maintains a life of contemplative seclusion, though rebevered as highly, he does not seek public prominence or large followings; his contribution is expressed through the depth of insight and refinement of contemplative realisation. As Ethical Director, he motivates PALA’s work is not only scientifically groundbreaking but also ethically grounded, contemplatively rigorous, and guided by values that serve the flourishing of our world.
